US January housing starts 1.638m vs 1.70m expected

Prior was 1.702m (revised to 1.708m)
    Building permits 1.899m vs 1.76m exp
    Prior permits 1.885m
    Permits +0.7%, starts -4.1%

I think the chart of building permits is the tell. It's going to be a very busy construction season.
