Moneta Markets Separates from Vantage Group, Gains ASIC License

<p>Moneta Markets announced on Tuesday its separation from Vantage (previously VantageFX). The move came as <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/moneta-markets/" target="_blank">Moneta </a>secured a team of investors to back its independent operations as a retail forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker.</p><p>Additionally, the broker secured regulatory permission from the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) for offering services to Aussie clients. The Australia Financial Services (AFS) license was granted to the locally formed Moneta Markets Pty Ltd on August 3.</p><p>Apart from the Aussie license, Moneta holds regulatory approval in South Africa and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.</p><p><a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/forex/brokers/vantage-fx-launches-multi-asset-brokerage-moneta-markets/" target="_blank">Launched in mid-2020</a> under the umbrella of Vantage Group, Moneta initially operated as an offshore broker.</p><p>"Since its inception, the intention has always been to build Moneta Markets into a brand that can operate on its own," said <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/thought-leadership/vantage-fxs-david-bily-passes-the-baton-to-focus-on-moneta-markets/" target="_blank">David Bily</a>, who founded Moneta Markets and is heading the broker as the CEO.</p><p>"The technological and infrastructural support of the Vantage Group, in the beginning, was vital in helping us launch and become a serious market contender, as well as in achieving our independence.
