<p>Demetrios Zamboglou, a Professor of
Practice at the Rome Business School, has joined the trading and investment
solutions provider, Doto, as the Group Chief Executive Officer.</p><p>Zamboglou was previously the Group Chief
Operating Officer at international trading provider, CFI Financial Group. </p><p>The executive worked for the firm, which he joined in July 2020, for a little
over two years.</p><p>He announced his appointment as the Group CEO
of Doto on Friday on <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6971041961197621248/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">his LinkedIn page</a>.</p><p>Zamboglou, who holds a PhD in Behavioural
Finance from King's College London, noted that he will be responsible for the
management of Doto's operations and overall vision.</p><p>Forex Experience</p><p>Since starting out in 2006 as a
Market Risk Analyst at SpreadCo Limited, a UK-based financial spread betting
and CFD provider, Zamboglou has worked for several top players in the banking
and forex industry including <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/fxtm/" target="_blank">ForexTime (FXTM)</a>, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/alpari/" target="_blank">Alpari</a> and <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/forex-club/" target="_blank">Forex Club</a>.</p><p>Between December 2015 and November 2016,
Zamboglou was the General Manager of online forex and CFD broker FXTM based in London, the
United Kingdom.</p><p>He joined the -based Forex Club Group of
Companies in February 2012, spending only a year and five months at the
multi-business organization.</p><p>During his short career stint at Forex Club, he rose to become
the Chief Risk Officer in February 2013.</p><p>Furthermore, at the online forex broker, Alpari, he served
as the Vice President of Risk Management for three and a half years and was based in
the UK.</p><p>Experience in the Digital Asset Industry</p><p>Zamboglou's experience also spans the
digital asset industry. </p><p>Between May 2019 and June 2020, he worked
as the Chief Operating Officer of Bank Account Based Blockchain (BABB), a
decentralized finance platform that leverages blockchain and biometrics
technology to provide peer-to-peer banking services.</p><p>Between September 2017 and January 2021,
he was an Advisor for Genesis Vision, a blockchain and smart contracts-based
private trust management market. </p><p>Moreover, Zamboglou held advisory roles at Non-Zero Blockchain Software, a blockchain-based loyalty platform for
retail financial services, Blockpass, a self-sovereign identity portal for
regulated industries, and ThePower Ecosystem, a web3 infrastructure company.</p><p>Meanwhile, between November 2016 and
December 2018, the executive was the European CEO and the Global Chief Business
Development Officer at Lykke Corp, a fintech company seeking to bridge the gap
between traditional finance and blockchain.</p>
