Australian jobs report is due Thursday, 16 February 2023 - preview

Coming up from Australia tomorrow is the January jobs report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

due at 11.30 am local time

0030 GMT 7.30 pm US Eastern time

This
snapshot from the ForexLive economic data calendar, access
it here.

The
times in the left-most column are GMT.

The
numbers in the right-most column are the 'prior' (previous
month/quarter as the case may be) result. The number in the column
next to that, where there is a number, is the consensus median
expected.

Snippet from Westpac's preview:

Our forecast 15k gain in employment is enough to hold the unemployment rate at 3.5%
