<p>In January, the number of executive roles being onboarded in the forex, crypto and fintech industries is returning to what we normally expect with a slight dip due to redundancies in the market. Let's review the executives that have taken on new roles and challenges in our executive moves roundup of the week.</p><p>Fiona Richards Joins PrimaryBid as Chief Operating Officer</p><p>PrimaryBid has appointed Fiona
Richards as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). She brings over 25 years of
financial markets experience gained from the largest investment banking brands
around the world.</p><p>Before PrimaryBid, Richards also served Rowan Dartington as the COO. Her career in finance began in 1997, when she joined
Accenture, and then moved to UBS. Following that, she functioned at HSBC and
Deutsche Bank where she first proved herself in the role of Chief Operating Officer in

Head of Sales in the Americas. The announcement follows Rob Laible who was recruited last week as the Head of Americas, showing BMLL's focus on expansion in the
United States.</p><p>Chen has
more than 20 years of market experience, having previously worked as an analyst

has left FXCM after almost 18 years as its Chief
Information Officer to start independent consulting in the IT and Information
Security businesses.  </p><p>Leonard
admits that his true professional career started at FXCM in
2005 when he joined the retail trading broker. Before that, he served as a network engineer, system administrator and

Bond has been steering Citi's forex sales team for both jurisdictions since April 2021.  </p><p class="paragraph" xml:lang="EN-US" paraid="1024145786" paraeid="{b46007dc-7ac2-42c3-8e63-68aea1ad2b09}{119}">The executive joined Citi in July 2015 as the Assistant Vice President of FX Sales. He will join Vanguard Australia as the General Counsel.</p><p>Hughes joined the Aussie financial market watchdog as a Commissioner in late 2018 for a five-year term. However, her LinkedIn profile shows she assumed the role in December last year.
